Brr, this weekend was chilly, but a good kind of chilly, at least for me. The knitter in me is giddy deciding what wool to wear outside. Friday was indeed my birthday -- thank you to all of you sleuths who figured out from ravelry and wished me well. My day was quite nice.
I found the new Jane Austen Knts magazine and of course bought a couple of books. My husband and I had dinner out and enjoyed being with each other. Both kids called as well as many family members. All good. All fun!
My self imposed deadline that is arbitrary has not been met. However, maybe by the time I go to sleep I'll be a day behind...of course completely self imposed. The best kind of time crunch there is.
I really wanted to finish reading my Flannery O'Connor collection book this weekend and that did not happen either.
Today my friends came over for some knitting and eating. Lots of projects on the needles and discussions of knit shops near and far. Sigh... I love this hobby and the sisterhood knitting creates.
So I'm finishing up this post, my laundry and I'll be sitting and sipping my tea while you visit me.
How was your weekend?
Beautiful mitts

ReplyDeleteA belated, hau'oli la hanau to you. I'm glad to read you had lovely plans and treats with those you love. Sippin' my daily 3c of green tea right now. It's 54° in the house and I'm finally done putting away all of the Costco haul. Our weekend was great. Picked up the girls from their Bella's in SF and relaxed the rest of the weekend. Of course we didn't try to get our biorhythms back in tune and so we are tired today.
