A Little Beauty



I started this cowl today since I really enjoyed the last cowl I a made (seen here).  This little beauty is going to be worn close to the neck and the pattern, A Noble Cowl, is lovely.  The yarn is Mirasol Tupa and I think it pairs well with the pattern.  

Today is beautiful!  The sun is shining and the birds are singing, what could possibly be better?  We have a tennis match to see this afternoon and I am looking forward to standing outside soaking up the sun's rays.  I think all of last week matches were postponed because of rainy weather except for one.  I am wondering if we are done with wearing winter coats, wouldn't that be great?

    your yarn choice looks perfect ~ appears silky soft!

    we've had a tiny bit of sunbursts thru the rain showers today ~ spring is trying really, Really hard to make an appearance!

    It's sunny and warm here in New England today, too! How I would love to put my winter coat (and boots) away for good :- )

    That cowl pattern is beautiful, and I *love* the yarn. It looks so soft, with a nice "glow" to it.

    What a pretty pattern! I've got some alpaca that I haven't found the right project for yet, but this is definitely an option now.

Knitting News

  Good morning to you! How are you? I'm excited about my hat that I've been knitting enjoying the sea of stockinette stitches. When I first started the hat I thought it would be too small, now I wonder if it will be too big. Gah. I will find out soon I guess. I wish the photo about showed how beautiful the colors are in real life, you'll have to trust me on this! Below is my next knitting project, the habitation throw . I will definitely use the pink and gray, I'm still not sure about that purple, I might have a look-see in my stash and do another ponder about that color. I chose this pattern because I can use up some of my stash and I adore Helen Stewart's patterns. What are you working on this week? Also: I will probably not be posting this Friday and the following Monday because of my family visiting. I hope to be back next Wednesday (unless I change my mind).
