Finds
Here is another little beauty that I picked up while visiting a thrift store. It is hand made and somehow I believe it's made by a younger person. I just LOVE the turtle etched onto the side. I have a thing for pottery and I have a thing for vases. So this creation fits the criteria of being bought and brought into my home :)
Have you found anything second hand that you would like to share?

Me too Karen, me too...I love pottery and it is my dream to have my own wheel and kiln.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty vase and I think the turtle makes it!
That vase is so lovely. I never seem to find anything as quaint when I go to thrift stores. Thrifting is always something that I have wanted to do on a more regular basis...one day I will get there. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI am under strict orders not to acquire any more treasures until after we move. Thrifting season is passing me by & I can't even look, because I know I won't be able to stop myself if I find something I love… xo
And he looks like such a happy little turtle! What a cute find :)
ReplyDeleteKaren, you need to come to Seagrove, NC. The pottery would send you to heaven. I do love this little vase.
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love handmade pottery!!! Such a beauty your vase is. My kids would go crazy over the turtle design. :)
ReplyDeleteOooo I am with you on pottery, I am a sucker for really really heavy, beautifully colored ones. This one has such a story! Great find Karen!
