Weekeneds
Weekends are for memory making,
relaxing and enjoying quiet moments of our days.
If you would like, please share your weekend moments
in the comment section with a link to your blog.
A cool breeze greeted me this morning, so wonderful! I hope cool breezes are where you are too. This weekend has been quiet. I walked two times yesterday and once I hit publish, I'll be heading out again. I'm basking in that fall like air!
Friday night we went out for pizza, a new to us place that we've been to about three or four times, so now I feel like a regular. Yesterday, I shopped around a craft store and popped into a bookstore.
Today was church (as always) and my husband made a new Indian dish but it was too spicy hot for me. He loved it though! My mouth is still tingly from my few bites of giving it a try.
How was your weekend?
Our weekend was beautiful! It was a gorgeous day for a bike ride yesterday and even though we were very tired at the end of it, we had a great time. Today was spent catching up at home and getting some rest. Have a great start into the new week!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am very envious of your cool weather, it has felt like the middle of summer here.
ReplyDeleteI walked yesterday, twice, but today I took off and have just relaxed, and while it's bothering
me a little, okay, a lot, not to meet my goal I know my body needs a day of rest. Gosh,
this getting older is just plan hard!
Did you find a good book?
I just finished reading The Girl on the Train book so I'm thinking about what to start next :) The book was fab!!
DeleteLow key was the theme of ours. Is there a bird or squirrel in that nest? Glad you had a lovely weekend. The Indian dish sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteNice weekend here. Yesterday with the GK. Our choir sang a couple of really nice pieces and just are relaxing this afternoon. Heading East soon.
ReplyDeleteLilies of the valley in the fall?! Or are they something else?
ReplyDeletesomething else and I don't know what! Some kind of wild flower and one day I'll google it :)

A stroll, a little crafting and relaxing has been my weekend.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe it is officially fall (almost)??? I love craft stores. And book stores. Almost as dangerous as yarn stores.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good weekend. I am ready for the fall! My mom is in town, so we have had a packed weekend. I will have to share it all soon. xo
ReplyDeleteWe had really hot weather again on Saturday - but yesterday was cooler and today it is on the even cooler side and I'm happy as a clam! I hate hot weather!! I too went to the bookstore. I go almost every Friday tho - so nothing new - LOL!
ReplyDeleteLinda in VA
A bookstore and craftstore - two of my favorite places! Add some cool Fall weather and it's perfect!
ReplyDeleteCool breezes are greeting us each day too, and we are loving it. The sun is still shining during the day, warming up our little part of the world just nicely.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great week Karen.
Sounds lovely! I'm glad the cooler weather is now with us as well! It's a nice change :) Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteSuch glorious weather. Saturday....knitting on the porch. SUnday, family party and more knitting later
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good weekend, apart from the curry! I find that I mostly like spicy things, but sometimes they are just too much! xx
