Cupcake Celebrations
We celebrated my husband's birthday this week and so there were cupcakes. I splurged and bought them from a bakery. I love the made from scratch clean taste - this is the same bakery that did the wedding cake. YUM.
I've upped my exercise routine this week and I'm faced with how limited I am with my RA and yet I'm kind of excited with all I can do. I can feel my muscles, kind of achy in a good way I guess.
Of course, I'm still doing my daily walks and my daily yoga.
I've been reading slowly the plant based diet book and writing notes and learning. My grandfather was a big believer in "never stop learning" and you can learn anything from a book! He would have loved the internet. All that information.
My sweater is on the second sleeve, yay! I try to give this sweater some time during the day, at least one hour if not two hours. I daydream of a sweater that will fit perfectly :)
Yesterday while catching up on blog reading I came across
-Elaine's four season shawl, so beautiful!
-Zeta's post about being gifted a lovely pattern by Alina. Oh how this big big world gets smaller when knitters are involved.
-I know I've said it before but I'll say it again. Please give Amanda's videocast a watch!
-I'm really enjoying the information in: The plant powered diet
I hope you have a lovely weekend, see you Sunday!
Those cupcakes look delicious! I know I couldn't control myself if I brought these home... Have a great weekend! We're supposed to be in the 60's again and I am looking forward to spending lots of time outdoors.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great week- the cup cakes looks delish, happy birthday to your husband. Good for you doing yoga everyday- I try but with kids and horses life gets busy. I am wondering about your sweater is the the white pine? Very pretty blue color you chose for it. Love the Easter decor- Easter is my favorite time of year :)

ReplyDeleteI am so sore from all the exercising we have been doing this week, but I am proud that we are doing it and I am so thankful you are my buddy, it keeps me motivated.
My Daddy always told me to never stop learning either, it's something I now say to my kids.
I hope you have a fabulous weekend my friend.

ReplyDeleteI'm finally getting back to blog reading after being away for a couple weeks. You are fortunate to have such a nice bakery nearby. I hope your husband had a wonderful birthday. I always find the second sleeve is a bit hard to get through. The thought of a perfectly fitting sweater should inspire you to keep going! What yoga program are you using? Maybe you've mentioned it before and I've forgotten. Sadly, I seem to be doing that a lot lately. And thanks for the links!
