Knitting News
The sweater is off the needles and currently soaking in the sink. I'll have the finished photos to show you next week. I'm still in the midst of family in my house and the smallest tasks take me forever to get to because I'm doing something else.
Looks like they will be moving into their new home sometime early next week? No one's sure if their belongings will be there though!
I was excited to capture the light of October a day or two ago - I love this part best when autumn rolls around. The shifting light and the shadows that are cast during the day. Bring it on!!
I love the many photos that you have shared of your sweater. The color looks a little bit different in each one, and always beautiful. I'll look forward to seeing blocked photos. Hope all goes smoothly with the move and they get to move their belongings in, too!
ReplyDeleteOh that sweater. It is a simple masterpiece. I LOVE it. I do notice the light this time of year. It is spectacular. Even fireman noticed the pre-sunset light the other day. Full moon tomorrow

ReplyDeletei had hope to get my knitting update on today - but i have a very restless small girl child today... so i rather just look on in envy at your beautiful sweater that i dream of making up one day. :)
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have spent some quality time with your daughter and son in law. I hope all goes well with their move and that all their belongings arrive in time for them. It will all work out in the end. Beautiful sweater, a lovely knit.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure what our new home will bring in regards to lighting, but our previous home demanded a change in laying on the couch in the early morning hours because of the way the light streamed into the house. LOL! This house is full on east facing with only a double window in my sewing room, so not a lot of early morning laying down in there!
ReplyDeleteYour sweater looks great! Love the light at this time of year...and love that we are back to dining by candlelight in the evening.

ReplyDeleteLove your sweater. I've been thinking of knitting myself one but... the amount of stockinette it would take to make one my size.... as much as I love the zen of stockinette... I don't know. Can't wait to see yours blocked and buttoned. Love the color! In this post, it looks like 'porch ceiling' blue. Beautiful!
