Weekends


Our daughter and son in law were here over night for a dear family friend wedding.  Our daughters were friends through middle school and high school.  Once the kids grew up, we continued to be friends through out the years. 

The wedding was my first outdoor wedding! 


All week the news station called for rain and by a miracle, the weather was picture perfect.

I ate, I danced, I celebrated and had a ton of fun.  I'm exhausted!  I must say it's more fun to attend a wedding than to plan a wedding :)

My family left this afternoon and I'm doing all those pesky chores:  dishes and laundry!

    What a fun outdoor setting ! Yes they are more fun to attend than plan! Great photos of you all. My weekend was all that rain. But it is ok. I got a lot of knitting done!

    Wow, what a fun setting for a wedding! We are building a new home next year and my husband hopes that maybe one of our girls will use our new backyard as a site for her wedding! There is something about an outdoors wedding that is really special. xx

    What a beautiful weekend. Amen to the "it is more fun to attend the wedding of a good friend or family member than to plan the wedding." But still I love weddings with all the promise of life to come. I love the photo of you and your daughter. Perfect.

Weekends

  Good morning! How are you? How was your weekend? I had a great weekend but I didn't take any great photos. I've been wrapping presents a little bit each day instead of doing it all in one massive long day. This has made a difference in my joy as I wrap. Do you wrap all at once? Or do you do a little bit at a time? Miss Holly has been finding the sun spots and getting her 'tan' going. She is a sweetie. I have no idea what she is watching outside that window. She does that every day. My guess is probably birds or chipmunks but chipmunks should be resting now that it's super cold outside. Sadly I did not take any photos of my knitting, but I have been knitting! I continue to work on my husband's hat and I ripped out a pair of mitts I started (couldn't see the dark yarn with cabling) and started a much simpler pattern instead.
