Weekends

This weekend has been relaxing and calm.  Even Frodo looks like he is taking time to smell the lilies.

My weekend included:

-tons of reading
-finishing the washcloths as a knitting palate cleanser, gearing up for a new cast on.
-time spent with my family, lots of talking, eating good food and being together
-because I'm with my family, the photos are minimal.  I tend to be in the moment when we are all together
-sunshine and summery weather (finally)
-loving life

How was your weekend?

  1. Your weekend sounds wonderful! Mine was great too, though I am a bit envious of the family part of yours ;-)

  2. The weekend was fun. Fireman and I went to a scooter festival in town. Lots to do in a tourist town in the warm months. Zach joined us yesterday, and is staying for a bit! Weekend highlight: watching the Cubs with my guys

  8. My weekend was spent doing a few chores and sitting in the warm sunshine, though it was a bit windy too. It rained a bit too, so very strange. I've read my book and that's about it. Love the photo of Frodo sniffing the Lilies, Cx

  11. Our weekend was good. Last week included time with our son and his family from Maine! Friday evening we all went out to a restaurant they enjoy when they come here. Saturday morning they left around 6:00 and I started doing some cleaning. Sunday was church, morning and evening. We had two beautiful days Saturday and Sunday...no rain! Your weekend sounds lovely!

  12. A Gentleman in Moscow is showing up in so many book stacks. I tried to read it about a year ago. Maybe I need to try again.
