Weekends

My Weekend contained:

walks on the dirt road
phone calls from the kids

an afternoon of painting
and some photography
enjoying the brilliant sunshine and warm weather
lots of reading
and knitting

a gigantic deep clean of the bedroom
moving furniture dusting and vacuuming
(and I am sore from head to toe)

putting together the back yard swing
and the patio umbrella
baking another loaf of banana bread

How was your weekend?

  4. Wow a big cleaning job, on the weekend!!! YOu are super motivated!!!!

Nothing much here, other than a lovely from-the-front-of-the-garage chat with our two sons. One lives next door, and the other, still goes _in_ grocery stores on the weekend, and get us some "only inside, and only that store" items. The family chat, was an extra bonus. -smile-

Of course, we "put the world to rights" during this!!!!! -smile-

Lovely weather, but our warmth has now fled for a while. Such is weather!

  6. I was impressed with your painting, very good. Phone calls and listening to church services and a little reminiscing kept us busy. Take care and stay safe.

  10. Sounds like a very busy and productive weekend! Saturday was 100% lazy day for me and it was most excellent! My husband was home for once and we got to be lazy together. Sunday was spent running errands so not quite as much fun, but we ran them together which was a nice change in pace. We don't get to spend much time together these days so it was wonderful to spend three whole days together.

  11. Your painting is just so great!!! A family member was not feeling very well, so we spent a lot of time on the phone being supportive. The weather here was 70s and the best sunny warm days yet. Fireman got a 20 miler bike ride in. We finally got sit on our back porch
