Knitting News

I keep working on this gradient shawl each and every single night.  It grows and grows and still have oodles of yarn yet to knit up! I am thoroughly enjoying every stitch.

The golden wheat shawl also gets some knitting time every now and then.  The pattern is easy to follow but I cannot read and knit at the same time because most rows have something going on.  I love how this is knitting up!

What are you working on this week?

  1. Both of your shawls are so pretty. I love the colors in your gradient one. I'm still working on Tomfoolery socks and the Hellebore Hitchhiker.

  7. Socks. Socks and more socks. No pattern per se. The ones for my husband seem endless (he likes a long shank and has a long foot.). :)

  8. Such pretty shawls you knit. That Golden Wheat is a pattern I've never looked at. I think your solid color is a very good choice. I'm finishing up some fingerless mitts and knitting on a shawl this week.

  9. I have a shawl and a sweater that don’t need my attention so ok it those in the evenings. Then there is some color work that needs good light and focus so that happens in smaller spurts. Good to have variety.

  10. Karen, I love the second one. The intricacy and the roundness appeal to my eye! It looks hard to do! I'm sock knitting. The sock bug had not bit in a long time.....and then! BITE! I'm thrilled to be knitting them again. One crazy skein makes me happy for the next pair.
