Knitting News
Good morning! My knitting has been quite productive this week. I finished the red socks over the weekend as I had planned. So the first pair of socks are done out of at least four pairs I'd like to make as Christmas gifts. In the above photo, I started the second pair of socks with the most delightful green color way.
What are you working on this week?
I love those red socks and I bet the green ones will be just as nice. Lucky recipients!
ReplyDeleteNice!! The red socks turned out so pretty and I love your green yarn. I'm still sorking on the first Lava sock. Last night I could not keep my eyes open to knit.
ReplyDeleteI can't believe you don't have hidden UFOs kicking around!!! In my dreams I catch up ....and once I even spent a couple weeks unraveling projects I knew I'd never really finish knitting...and I'm STILL OVERrun with projects in bags. I think this is the one area we are totally different...I dream of being you some day.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the completion of the red socks. The green colorway is pretty. How long does it take you to knit a pair of socks? Do you make the legs as long as the foot?
ReplyDeleteGreat work, I absolutely love the colors you are working with now. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteOH Nice Job. The reds are so sweet. The green/blue will be cheerful to work with! Nice job. You are way ahead of me. I don't know if I am Holiday knitting.
ReplyDeleteLovely! I dis a lot of baking and cooking, knit dishcloths earlier in September!

DeleteI love the socks! Green is one of my favorite colors. : ). I'm still working on embroidery, doing a series of hoops to hang on the wall as a display. Have a great rest of the week!
ReplyDeleteThe red/gray/pink socks look great. The green ones look like they will be fun to knit. You have a plan. Go Karen go!
ReplyDeleteNow I have complete sock envy, I love the red pair and I really want to knit myself a green pair......
ReplyDeleteI took a break from knitting by Friday and finally started a new cross stitch!
ReplyDeleteI'm so late to this party but had to comment - Love both pair! I appreciate pretty much anything green and the patterning on the red is great. It plays well with the color striping.
