Blue Whale Socks
I finished the third pair of socks for holiday gift giving out of four pairs! Of course it's the same pattern memorized in my head that is somewhat soothing during these trying times. My only slight problem was when I pulled from the center out to begin the socks I must have messed it up and I had to knit almost one sock before the massive tangle was undone.
What are you working on this week?
They are a lovely shade of blue and look so warm and squishy! I'm finally working on some Christmas knitting, too - a hat and some fingerless gloves.
ReplyDeleteOoohhh, love the color of those socks. Someone is gonna be a lucky person.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful, I love the color!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty color blue! They look fabulous. I hate when the yarn tangles that way. I'm sorking on socks and a hat. I have yarn picked out for fingerless gloves that I hope to start soon.
ReplyDeleteThose look like mighty warm socks. Such a pretty shade of blue. I am working on hats and mittens for my grands, a pair of socks. I'd like to be working on my poncho but the hats and mittens need to be finished soon. Winter is on the way.
ReplyDeletejust look at you flying through your holiday knitting!!!!! i like these alot....no one in my family wants a knit anything except daughter who was looking for help on those dishrags she advertised to sell on facebook....just what was she thinking? I've done my stint with them, so I guess you could say my holiday knitting is done!!! woooohoooo. I didn't think of it like that before this minute. I've never had my holiday knitting done in November!!!
ReplyDeleteThose look very cozy! I have ordered some sock yarn. Now I need needles and I will give sock knitting another try.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice texture to those socks. And the blue is lovely. Whoever gets them will enjoy them, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteThose are just lovely!!! I'm working on my shawl which has blossomed into 500 plus stitches per row. Slow go!
ReplyDeleteOooh I love the colour. Three down four to go, hope you get them all knit in time.

ReplyDeleteI've been spending lots of time on Ravelry looking for a new project that'll make me happier.
