Knitting News
My knitting devotion has been on one project this past week and it's the color work pullover. I cannot gush enough about how delighted I am to pick up this project and add another row, then another, then another. Last night I completed all of the color work chart and am now swimming in good old stockinette.
What are you working on this week?
I love the colors you chose for the yoke and am excited to see this lovely sweater grow!
ReplyDeleteI am working on the foot of sock number two, trying to get it finished before the color work knit along begins on Friday. It is amazing what you can finish when you work on just one project at a time.
ReplyDeleteOh how pretty that yoke is. Great color combo. Inam knitting a dragon. Not near as pretty as your sweater though.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful yoke. I can see why you are smitten with it. I'm working on three things: cowl, sock and wrap. All are pleasurable knits!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I love the colours!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis currant color work sweater is just lovely. I see why it is a joy to knit, a cheerful late winter knit---yeah!
ReplyDeleteI just love this, it's going to be so gorgeous! Just working on my deep cleaning and decluttering here this week.
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! I'm trying to finish up my 1st super simple pullover ever. Chunky yarn. The cold temperatures make me want to wear it now.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sweater! I’m working on a shawl. It’s been on the needles a long time. It’s for me so there’s no rush.
ReplyDeleteReally nice. Your workmanship is lovely. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is so pretty. I can see why you are smitten with this project. Keep on knitting.
ReplyDeleteThat is quite complex colorwork. The colors you picked are my favorites. It's going to be gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI love the color work in the yoke, Karen. What a great choice of colors! I just finished a cowl to match a hat I knitted last year and am building up the nerve to return to a poncho I began a year ago but set aside when I found myself making error after error. It's definitely something I cannot do in front of the tv at night, which is one reason I set it aside. Other than that, I'm thinking of learning how to crochet granny squares. : )
ReplyDeleteI envy your ability to successfully knit sweaters. This is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater is so gorgeous, good luck!
ReplyDeleteMy knitting is on hold thanks to my sore thumbs. However, I am piecing a quilt and doing some counted x-stitch. I do miss the knitting though.
ReplyDeleteIt's always a plus when you love what you're knitting and are addicted. I've been working on my York Pinafore and sometimes I get sucked into a reading binge.
