Knitting News
I'm happy to report that I am half way through knitting this blanket that I started in January, I love the way it is turning out. My challenge will be deciding to keep it for myself or to gift the blanket. I'm leaning towards gifting but then again I do like it. I love these kinds of decisions.
What are you working on this week?
I had forgotten you were knitting that blanket. Feather and fan is my favorite pattern to knit, and I love gifting it as baby blankets. Yours is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking of my aunt the other day and wondering how many Feather & Fan blankets she made in her life time. It seemed as though she always had a baby blanket on the needles and it was always a Feather & Fan pattern. I really like yours...I'd be tempted to keep it - nice to cult up with while reading or watching TV. I've restarted the Guernsey Wrap as well as the Hiking Trail socks.
ReplyDeleteCurl up...not cult up - LOL
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, Karen! I do so love the feather and fan pattern!
ReplyDeleteAs for me... I am knitting socks (and sewing all.the.things!)
Love your blanket. I like the color a lot - makes it very regal looking.
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty blanket. The decision to gift or keep is going to be a tough one. I am working on socks, sweater and cross stitch.
ReplyDeleteThat blanket is so pretty it would be hard to give away. I think you should keep it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, such a stunning pattern. I am working on crochet flowers for wreaths.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm trying to finish up an old sweater WIP. I was going to knit the bottom ribbing all fancy like one knitter but now I'm like forget about it; I just want to finish this dang thing already.
ReplyDeleteI love your blanket so far! I am knitting the rock cap hat now.
ReplyDeleteThe feather and fan is a beautiful pattern and fun to knit. Good luck with your decision. I am reknitting a sleeve but it's a sleeve not the body of the sweater!
ReplyDeleteoh that's gorgeous, Karen!!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhhh, I love that so much! Looks like a perfect nap blanket. I love gray as well.
ReplyDeleteI'm using up scrap yarn for a log cabin blanket. First time I've tried this technique, so we'll see how it turns out. :)
Your blanket looks wonderful Karen, such a delicate pattern. I am continuing to knit rows on my jumper, slow and steady knitting round and round.
