Knitting News
Hello! Believe it or not I have started a new project this past week. I have a few friends that in their family they are expecting some babies. As you know I like to knit new babies a simple cardigan. (According to Ravelry this sweater is number thirteen!) I've knit this pattern so much it's sort of memorized and my print out is tattered.
What are you working on this week?
That is such a sweet pattern. You will have that knit in no time! I'm plugging away on a pair of socks and the Guernsey Wrap (high squish factor!!).
ReplyDeleteEvery new baby needs a sweater to keep them warm, and this is a lovely pattern!
ReplyDeleteLovely yarn for that sweater, Karen! And what a rousing review for that pattern, that you have knit it so many times! :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks lovely Karen, I followed the link to Ravelry and found lots of your makes. I've purchased 2 patterns from Ravelry before but other than that, I never use the account. I did request to friend /follow you but not sure if anything happened. I sound like a dinosaur ha ha! Enjoy your knitting x
ReplyDeleteI received your friend request and friended you back!
DeleteA baby knit is a good one to have on the needles, always a quick project and a delight to knit up. I love that you have found a favourite and know the pattern off by heart.
ReplyDeleteI love this pattern! I may have to make this for my future granddaughter someday, but right now I am leaving the knitting to her MIL.
ReplyDeleteI love to use those go-to patterns. Baby knits are so much fun. I'm working on a pair of socks and some fingerless mitts.
ReplyDeleteAwe lucky baby! Great pattern/yarn combo! Can't wait to see it progress. I'm working on Daytripper cardigan. Having heart palpatations about steeking. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Karen,
ReplyDelete...that is so pretty and so sweet of you...baby sweaters are the BEST...and cotton ones even more so...
~Have a lovely day!
ah sweet baby blessings and isn't it fun to revisit a favorite pattern!! I'm not working on much ... but I'm thinking a LOT about what to knit next!
ReplyDeleteLucky babies! I have frogged again a pattern for like the third or fourth time: the first was I think a long time ago (I think I wasn't sure I was brioche knitting correctly), yesterday maybe twice (for the first reason and had changed the stitch count), and then again today (I dropped a stitch and didn't know how to fix it). I am debating on whether to start again tonight...sigh.
