Weekends
Good morning! How was your weekend?
My husband and I along with my sister and brother in law went to the Phipps Conservatory to see the spring garden show. Outside it was wintry cold but inside the views were springtime hopefulness. We had such a great time. My favorite space was the Japanese garden and I did not take a photograph.
We hope to go there every time the exhibit changes. Hopefully the next time we venture over there the weather will be much better and we can stroll about the outside gardens. Yesterday was bitterly cold and I did not wear a winter coat but a spring jacket, I don't know what I was thinking. But it makes you feel alive!
Spring is around the corner, right??
What fun! I love those orchids!
ReplyDeleteThese pictures are just what I needed today...spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos. Phipps is such a lovely place - nice that you are close to it now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I've been trying to get John to go with me to Longwood Gardens, but I may just have to take myself.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely outings.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos, it looks a great place to visit. Plants and gardens generally are such a tonic.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely way to spend the day.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea for Spring!
ReplyDeleteThe garden/conservatory looks beautiful. Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun place to spend some time! We were able to do a bit of gardening yesterday, but barely made a dent in all there is to do. There are so many leaves to rake up, not to mention the other stuff.
ReplyDeleteThis place looks beautiful! Lovely pics!

Hi Karen,
ReplyDelete...WOW...what a beautiful place...love the living picture...
~Have a lovely day!
Those orchids are huge!
ReplyDeleteA Garden like that is the best way to celebrate the best of Nature in all the seasons! We belonged to the Atlanta Botanical Garden a few years back and I let our membership drop with COVID; I'm thinking about re-joining ... and this post gave me another push in that direction.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like the perfect way to spend a weekend. So beautiful, I love Spring flowers. Spring is indeed on its way despite the bitter cold, it was snowing again here today.
