Knitting News
Good morning! How are all of you and more importantly how is your crafting coming along?
My knitting needles have been busy clicking away. I finished our grandson's Christmas sweater (I know I am super early and on task with the gifts this year). I still have many things I want to make him before fall arrives.
The hyphen cardigan pattern I picked up as a physical copy at a local yarn store. I loved the construction and the yoke detail. I'm thinking of making this sweater again for another baby-to-be (not a grand!).
As always Malabrigo Rios is a stellar wool to knit with and a delight to have in my hands. If you haven't knitted with it, you should.
Ravelry notes are here.
What are you working on this week?
Such a wonderful sweater and that Malabrigo looks really nice! He's lucky to have you as his grandmother to provide lovely warm woolly knits.

ReplyDeleteIt turned out beautifully, Karen - I hope you'll be able to share modeled photos with us once he has a chance to try it on :-) He's going to be the best-dressed baby in all the Christmas photos ... and I know you'll be the proudest, smiling-est grandma admiring him!

Away From The Blue

ReplyDeleteI love Malabrigo! I've been looking at yoke sweaters a lot recently! I'm hoping to find one that will suit my shape, but a yoke sweater is always a winner for a baby sweater!
