Knitting News
That sweater is not as a rosy color in real life. It's a dark maroon hue and lovely, I guess the light was hitting the photo in a certain way. The second Christmas sweater for our grandson is gaining progress. I work on it most evenings while splitting my time with the socks in the below photo. The socks are for my husband who is wearing out previous hand made socks and needs his sock stash boosted.
What are you working on this week?
I'm still working on a cardigan for myself but dreaming of socks and gnomes - smaller things!
ReplyDeleteI have to try to get back to knitting a sweater I started a while ago. I love that maroon sweater and the socks.
ReplyDeleteBoth the sweater and the socks are beautiful! I'm trying to finish a second sock for Fletch - seems as though we are all knitting socks for our spouses!! I'm dreaming of some other things, but not sure there is time (meaning in time for Christmas)...I'll find out at some point!
ReplyDeleteLovely projects, perfect for the cooler, darker evenings. I cast on a second sock today, I am already half way down the cuff, I do love a quick knit.
ReplyDeleteI love the little sweater. The socks look very handsome too. I'm working on some fingerless mitts for a niece and my little autumn quilted piece. I dug out a long lost shawl project last night to think about how I want to finish it.
ReplyDeleteLove that sock design. I desperately need to be sock knitting for myself but first I have to survive the Christmas bazaars I signed up for.
ReplyDeleteThe sweater is coming along nicely. I hope we see a photo of its real colour, although the colour in the photo is pretty nice !
