Fetching Mitts Again

Over the past week or so I've knitted up two pairs of fetching mitts to be gifted to family members. Now I am finally done with gift knitting unless I change my mind again. This pattern is an old favorite of mine that I rely on often. It's a mitt that fits any adult hand and the pattern is easily memorized.

Now I'm working on gifts for me - I am mulling over some simple knitted holiday ornaments but so far it's in my imagination.

What are you working on this week?

  3. I'm still knitting socks! Of course. But dreaming of other things...and Kat posted a link to a new mitt pattern (free!!) that I was not aware of: Hermione's Everyday Mitts. I love the Hermione's Everyday Sock pattern, so I'm thinking of trying the mitts.

  5. The Fetching Mitts look, well, very fetching. Every time I gift a pair of fingerless mitts, the recipients enjoy them. I have had several people says, "I've never had any and they are so nice and warm." I'm working on Jonah's red scarf and dreaming of projects that might use handspun.

  7. I finished a special sweater last weekend and my knitting this week has been off so I finally cast on a simple hat. I guess I needed a breather. Love those mitts

  8. Your mitts are gorgeous. I too have mitts on the needles along with a sock and a jumper. The mitts are taking priority at the moment as it has gotten so very cold here.
