Passion Socks

Good morning to you!! How has your week been? Have you been crafting away? There's been a ton of knitting here but it's behind the scenes knitting - you know hush hush knitting.

So I finished my husband's socks just in time for Christmas Day! I tucked them into his stocking and he loves them so. I usually pick a green color way since it's his favorite color but his back up favorite is purple. I could knit socks every day if given a chance.

My knitting goals are to knit for me (us) until February or March then go back to knitting for others.

What are you working on this week?

  1. I love waffle socks and that is a great color! I hope they are keeping your husband's feet warm and you are enjoying your knitting.

  2. The socks are great. Bet hubby's feet appreciate them too. Been working on a "poncho" type covering for my DIL. Super chunky yarn and huge needles makes it go fast but my hands slow it down. Go figure lol.

  3. Your hubby's purple socks are wonderful! Great pattern, great color and isn't it wonderful to knit for someone who appreciates it? I'm still working on my Turning Leaves socks - I didn't knit much in TX.

  4. What a handsome pair of socks. I hope your husband enjoys wearing them. I planned to finish my Advent Scarf/Wrap but Norah lost her pink and white mittens with hearts. So I knit a pair of mittens for her. The scarf can wait.

  5. Those socks are great! My favorite color. I really wish I could figure out how to knit socks. My first two tries haven't been successful.
