Around Here
How are you doing?
Around here autumn weather has been showing up. The nights are cold and daylight is dwindling away, I love it and I'm all in for the change of seasons. I'll be surprised if there is one more heat wave. Even if there is one, it will be the last one.
Yesterday my husband and I went out to lunch at a local restaurant that has outdoor seating overlooking a pond. We each ordered a salad and enjoyed our views. We did a little shopping as well.
Earlier this week, I had an intense arthritis flare (ouch) that had me calling the doctor for medicine. I am so grateful that my doctor and her nurse responded quickly and I was able to pick up and take the medication by dinner time. I'm thrilled to report that I am feeling a bit better.
It's difficult for me to take it easy, but that is what I am doing.
I should be finishing up the sweater today! I'm excited to get it off the needles and blocked. I am already planning out the next knitting projects (holiday sweaters for the grands). Those will be a breeze to knit since they are small humans.
I hope you are feeling better and can enjoy a few more lunches outdoors. Have a good weekend and let the Christmas knitting begin!
ReplyDeleteI love your potted vine. Is that a clematis? So glad you are feeling better. Have a good weekend. See you again soon.
ReplyDeletethe potted vine is most probably a mandevilla (aka dipladenia) species
DeleteI hope you feel better soon. Modern medical care is a blessing. Looks like you had a lovely time at lunch. Good luck with that sweater.
ReplyDeleteThat water view is so relaxing. I am working on keeping a more reasonably pace here too.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a fun place to eat! Hope your arthritis stays under control this time. Can't wait to see that sweater; your work is always amazing!
ReplyDeleteI, too, hope that you are feeling better soon! This weekend might have been rainy but gosh the temps are perfect!
ReplyDeleteHope you're feeling better to enjoy this lovely fall weather! It's even cooling off in Atlanta (and Lucy and I are LOVING it!)
ReplyDeleteGood to hear you were able to get your hands on some meds fast. Beautiful picture of you and your husband.
