Weekends
Frodo wants you to know it is too cold outside! How are you guys? Life around here has been nice. After weeks and weeks, I finally started to feel better over the weekend. (YAY)
On Saturday I made dinner for my sister and brother in law. What was supposed to be nine people attending, dwindled down to just the four of us. This is what happens with winter gatherings and viruses. We had a great time and did play a board game as well.
I've been knitting up a storm, still! I am just going with it until the knitting fever ends sort of like Forrest Gump and his running.
Sunday morning was lots of snow, crazy winds and the roads were a mess, so we stayed home and stayed warm inside. I did my Sunday chores and relaxed.
How was your weekend?
It is a good time of the year to stay inside and enjoy reading and knitting! :) That cat hat is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteA second for the cute cat hat (and Frodo is quite cute, too)!
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of Frodo and the ears for your cat hat are simply darling. It's been cold and windy here too. Time to hunker down! So glad you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Frodo! It is too cold! But since I can't change it, I guess I will just do the practical thing and stay inside as much as possible! I'm so glad to hear that you are feeling like yourself again. I'm sure your sister and brother-in-law enjoyed their meal with you. That hat is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI was wondering if you guys had been caught in the artic vortex. Stay warm and safe. We ha e been unusually cold for where we live. But I am not complaining. All too soon it will be like living on the sun lol.
ReplyDeleteFrodo is right about the weather. It is bitter cold. Staying home away from cold, crazy roads, and viruses seems like a good idea to me. I wound up another skein of yarn yesterday.
ReplyDeleteVery cold here as well. Good to hear you are feeling more and more like yourself.
ReplyDeleteThis time of year is always the best for knitting, and for reading too. Sweet Frodo looks quite happy to be indoors where it’s warm.
