Knitting News

Good morning! How are you all doing?

I finished the socks on Monday night and already started another pair of socks the same evening. He is proudly wearing these socks which makes me happy. I do not know how much knitting I will be getting done because I'm in the middle of an arthritis flare in my wrists. I wish I could be patient but alas, I am not.  I'm doing my best to knit briefly and then take a rest.

What are you working on this week?

  1. The socks look nice and warm and you know your husband appreciates them since he wore them right away!

  3. The socks are wonderful...and wonderful that he immediately started wearing them! Your husband is extremely knit-worthy! Here's hoping your flare up calms down very, very soon.

  4. His feet thank you, I am sure. Still working on RCR socks over here. Wrist flare ups are worse than finger flares. At least with finger flares you can reposition the needles and still knit. Not so much with the wrist. Hope it improves soon.

  5. Those socks look great! Those arthritis flares can really be annoying. I am impatient for them to be over when they occur. Usually, I just find a different craft to work on until they subside.

  6. Oh friend...I'm so sorry about the arthritis flare. I know how painful they can be. But I love the socks! And just so you know...I am the same way when I have a crocheting project I am working on. I don't want to stop, even though I know it isn't the wise thing to do.

  7. I'm sorry you're in pain, I hope your wrists feel better soon. Your socks look good, they're obviously loved as they're worn already. Take care, Cathy x

  8. Terrific job on the socks. It is even better when they are wearer- approved. I hope the flare subsides sooner rather than later. That has to be frustrating.

  9. Great socks and I imagine your husband is quite happy to have them. I still find your heel interesting and have not seen a heel construction quite like it before. I think what I see as different is the bottom of the heel, it looks padded.
