Weekends

 Good morning!

How was your weekend? I'm sitting in my kitchen watching the sun try its best to shine among the clouds. Today is going to be a beautiful day and I am going to be outside in it.

My weekend was great. I cannot believe its Holy Week already and yet I am ever so ready for Easter. I mailed the kids their packages last week and the only thing left to do this week is make a rice salad on Saturday for dinner at my sister's house on Sunday.

My wrists are greatly improved and my knitting is back as usual (with me being careful). I forgot about my wrists yesterday morning while plunging a plugged drain and irritated the right wrist. Lesson has been learned!!

Besides going to Mass on Sunday, nothing exciting happened which is the way I love my weekends.

  1. Good to hear you are back to knitting a bit more (carefully). I'm sure that makes you happy. We had a soggy Saturday, but the sun came out on Sunday. Too chilly to be out and about, but the sun was a welcome sight for sure!

  2. You should save your wrists for knitting and leave the plunger to your husband!

  3. I am nodding with Bonny... any plumbing issues are always the husband duty!! It does look to be an amazing day!

  4. Good morning! It's a wet day here in Missouri. Glad you are able to get back to your knitting! Yep, plumbing is for hubby to attend to. :D It's nice that you can be out in the beautiful spring weather. Some of my Easter items for my granddaughter is yet to arrive... yikes! But I was looking for something special and it took some time. Have a blessed day Karen!

  5. Holy Week is my favorite liturgical time of year. Looks like the sock is getting some proper love now. Hopefully your wrists will behave. Other than having a plunger issue, your week/weekend sounds very nice and normal. Looks like we will be havng one of our last cool days today here. I will want to get out and take advantage of it too.
