Swizzle Socks

Good morning!

I finished another pair of socks for my husband and promptly cast on another pair. I enjoyed this colorway but, gosh, it was a challenge to match the two socks up (but I did a good job!). Once I am done filling his sock drawer, I will be thrilled to be knitting other projects that are on my mind. I should write down my ideas so I do not forget.

What are you working on this week?

  3. OH! I love them! I am getting ready to start my second "test" sock. Hopefully I won't have the hole in the gusset this time. Everything else worked out great! I have my yarn for my "real" pair of socks after this test pair. I too have been saving ideas on Ravelry. So many projects, so little time! LOL!

  5. You did mighty fine matching the stripes up. My husband doesn't understand why matching up stripes is important. He says they are under his slacks and no one sees them. Well of course there are those times you sit down or cross your legs! He didn't think of that. This is why he is not a knitter lol.

  9. your husband has a wonderful sock drawer full of socks! I'm knitting a white cotton/linen pullover for myself - which fills a much-needed gap in my Spring wardrobe, and it feels like Summer might be here before I finish it.
