Knitting News

Good morning! How are you? How is your crafting coming along?

I finally took a decent photo of my gift socks. Oh how I love working on these! I am on the heel flap since taking this photo earlier in the week. I'm zooming along. I have one more pair of socks I'd like to knit and give as a Christmas gift then I am onto knitting some ornaments. I've decided to not marathon knit numerous gnomes to save me from an arthritis flare. I love knitting gnomes but I cannot control myself with pacing the knitting (yet) so I am taking a seasonal year off. My wrists will thank me!

What are you working on this week?

  5. I am finishing up a baby blanket I started during covid. It has a nice lacy repeat pattern that is so simple and looks so pretty when done. It doesn't bother my arthritis. I have found I need to use light weight yarns and that helps me a lot. I started some granny squares.....not sure if the crocheting will bother me yet or not....time will tell.....Last year I knitted wool hats for my girls....that killed my hands. I love the hats but I have learned that I cannot do that again. BTW .I love your knitting updates.

  6. Oh my goodness, Karen! That color wave in those socks is gorgeous! I'm sad to say that I have not done any crafting other than making some creams this summer. It's just been too hot...even with the air conditioning.

  9. What a pretty sock yarn. I can see why you are enjoying knitting on the project. I'm working on a summer top, some socks, and now and then a hitchhiker.
