Knitting News

Good morning, how are you doing? What have you been working on this week?

I've been thoroughly enjoying the endless sea of stockinette knitting of my sweater. When I was young, I didn't like mindless knitting, now I love it! Who am I? The knitting is easy and comforting, just what I need at this moment of time.

I'm also working on the first sock. They will probably not match (again). I fear I might run out of yarn if I try to match them up so I'm going rogue and letting the colors fall where they may!!

  1. You do like to live on the wild side, letting the colors fall where they may! :-)

  3. Gosh that is a pretty sweater! I find mindless knitting to be a form of meditation. I don't think I have ever tried to really match up socks...just not important to me.

    1. Me, too. Sunflower 🌻 or tumeric, saffron or maybe yellow ochre?

  6. I'm thinking ALL knitting is good knitting these days! I finished what I thought we be a last summer top over the weekend, and it fits so nicely, I cast on another one! There will be wool on my needles after this. I hope. if the temperature ever drops below 70?!

  7. That color is just wonderful! I am also in the round and round of a sweater and while I do love it (because it makes it easier to multi-task) I am also thinking about what is next.

  8. The color in that sweater is just gorgeous. I might have written this before. It reminds me of caramel. I'm just ready to split off the sleeves of the top I'm knitting. I look forward to the mindless stockinette.
