Knitting News

My knitting has been minimal since I traveled to see the kids in Indiana last weekend. I did do some sock knitting on the way there but then the AC in the car went intermittent. The car was too hot for me to knit and I ached so I didn't do anything but grumble. Of course being with wiggly little ones made it impossible to knit!! (I was happy with the wigglers).

I pulled out my sweater yesterday and worked on the body edge ribbing. I have two more rows and then I get to do sleeves!!

What are you working on this week?

  1. The sock looks good and you're really moving along with your sweater. You'll soon be wearing it!

  3. Your sweater is really coming along, Karen! I am on Sleeve Island myself and will be watching some Paralympics this week to make some progress!

  4. Nice progress on your sweater! Of course, playing with wiggly ones is a far better use of one's time than knitting!

  6. Both projects look great! I'm dying to start a sweater but I've got to get through all the craft shows I signed up for first. What was I thinking signing up for so many?? HOpe you can get your a/c fixed quickly and cheaply. This week is going to be brutal!

  8. I'm so glad you got to see the littles! and I love the pattern in that sock. I'm working on my first "fall" sweater this week - a wool vest - it was 95 today and I wonder when it might be cool enough to wear it?!

  9. That sweater is such a beautiful fall color. It's flying off your needles.
