Hello! How are you doing?

My knitting progress has been fantastic. I'll admit the cool weather helps motivate me immensely. First off, I finished those socks and am now done with sock holiday knitting. I like the way they turned out and will probably not knit socks until mid December for my husband, but never say never.

Below is the progress of my grandson's holiday sweater. I am thoroughly enjoying this project, the yarn is divine and the pattern is easy-peasy. I hope to finish the first sleeve today.

What are you working on this week?

  1. Wow! You are really going at it! I wish I were that fast, my blanket wouldn't be taking me so long. LOL! it is supposed to measure 60 x 60 and I am only 17 inches done. Trying to stay focused on it and not start anything new but it is so hard not to! LOL! Happy Wednesday and Happy knitting!

  2. Very pretty colors on the socks. Someone is going to love them. Your Grandson's sweater looks nice and warm. Working with a yarn that is divine makes a project go so much easier.

  11. I like how Flax is working out for you. It's a lovely sweater. I've thought about making one for my grandson (1 yo). I'm currently knitting a hoody that zips up the back for him. Until I looked for the link, I didn't realize that I haven't updated the project in a few weeks. I am currently playing yarn chicken as I try to finish the arms. I invite you to visit me at my blog, Harvest Lane Cottage.
    Be blessed!

  13. The socks are great...lucky person who will receive them. I have cut down my holiday knitting. I used to make presents for 10 people, and now just a couple. The little sweater is moving right along. Love the color.
