Good morning! Boy have I missed you guys. I had a fantastic visit with family and spent some quality time with the grandkids. They left yesterday morning and I put my house back together again once more. They will be visiting again shortly after Christmas for an extended period of time. I am so lucky!

My knitting was non-existent while they were here. I continue to work on the second Musselburgh hat for my husband who sees me knitting it but doesn't know it's for him, ha ha ha.

I've been feeling under the weather but I am convinced it's my auto-immune disease, so I've been taking it easy, hydrating and keeping my fingers crossed. So far this plan is working!

What are you working on this week?

  1. Great color for your Musselburgh! Glad you had such a good visit with family and the grandkids. What fun. But, I imagine it is also exhausting to have extra people around and that might be why you feel a little under the weather - hopefully taking it easy will get you back to feeling normal. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on a granddaughter to arrive!

  2. That is a fantastic color for a masculine Musselburgh hat! I am so glad you had such a great holiday visit with your family! Yes, it can be exhausting... but it is such a good exhaustion! I hope your resting now will have you feeling better soon!

  3. I’m slowly doing more knitting again. I have a cardigan I finished recently and am trying to get a lace weight project on the go, but it’s really slow going!
