Knitting News
Good morning! How are you doing?
My knitting news this week is very little. The baby blanket is almost done which I am excited about. I haven't knitted much this week because of being 'busy'. I've had routine doctor checkups that seem to be bundled all at the end of February and beginning of March (!) and we are looking at houses for our son and daughter in law. When I get home I am just too tired to think straight.
Luckily I've got a few days to catch up with my knitting, reading and thoughts before the next house viewing this weekend.
What are you working on this week?
The work on the blanket is so tiny and precise. I really like it!
ReplyDeleteWhat am I working on? Hm...exercise and cleaning, also praying.
House looking is exciting but also tiring and a bit overwhelming. Good luck!
ReplyDeletethat's a fab blanket, love the colour. I've just cast on a Stephen West Garter Marler Sweater to use up all my scraps, so far am loving it.
ReplyDeleteThat baby blanket sure is pretty! Some little one is going to love it. I'm working on some little hats for the neighbor girls that brought us a surprise Valentine's gift. One done for Mama, and another just about done, so I am getting there!
ReplyDeleteI loved house hunting when our son was moving here. But, you are correct, it can wear you out. Looks like the baby blanket is getting near completion. I hope all your Dr appts are filled with good news.
ReplyDeleteI would be exhausted with all those doctor appointments and then house hunting on top of that. Good luck!!
ReplyDeleteYou are getting that blanket done so fast. When I crocheted my grandson a baby blanket it took me months. LOL
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is a lovely colour, delicate pattern too. I'm knitting a jumper and considering a Lent KAL. It's meant to be a lap blanket size in chunky yarn or a table mat in DK. Also reading a book ready for the book club on Friday. I don't like it, so doubt I'll finish it x
ReplyDeleteHouse hunting is exhausting and exciting. The blanket looks so soft and warm. I am working on a maybe sweater and a scarf from handspun.
ReplyDeleteSeeing that baby blanket makes me want to learn to knit! It is beautiful, Karen!
ReplyDeleteI think the blanket looks beautiful! And it looks like there's not much left to go.
ReplyDeleteThe blanket is looking great! I spent a lot of last week knitting (finished a sweater), reading, and meeting up with friends. The weeks I'm here at home are full of coffee dates, knitting, and (yay!) in-person bookgroup meetings!
