Knitting News
Good morning! How are you? Right now, early this morning it is snowing! gah.
Yesterday, I took a much needed break from my second sleeve (not finished but nearly finished) and started a baby sweater for a family member. I found out there is yet another baby coming in the family and I will be knitting more blankets and sweaters in my future. According to Ravelry this is the seventeenth time I have knit this baby sweater pattern!
I have already bought more yarn for another blanket this time going for a forest green and moving out of muted colors. I am happy to be knitting for babies to be.
What are you working on this week?
I am wrangling some doctor appointments this week and dipping my "fingers" back into the color work pool and having fun!
ReplyDeleteIt really must be The Best Baby Sweater if you're knitting it for the 17th time!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love the yarn you have chosen.
ReplyDeleteWow! 17 times to knit a sweater is a lot!! Must be a good one. How exciting to have another baby in the family. I'm trying to stay steady with Semplice and not start anything new....
ReplyDeleteAww, That is so nice.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have 17 babies to welcome with sweaters! A friend is expecting her first granddaughter next month and I'll be knitting another Lillie Rose Dress; I've made a few, but no where near 17!
ReplyDeleteHoly cow! Seventeen baby sweaters is a wonderful record. I love those old familiar patterns.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sweater color. It must be a great pattern!
ReplyDeleteSnowed here in upstate NY also, almost looked like a blizzard for a bit, but nothing stuck. 17th one?!
ReplyDeleteThat was me.
DeleteIt sounds like a favourite sweater. I'm following along on the Lent Kal and reading. Things tend to slip if I don't keep at it.
