Around Here

How are you doing today? I'm doing pretty good. It's been a busy week and today is a day where I don't have to be anywhere pressing. Of course I might go out but it will be because I want to go out. Before I forget, Happy Easter if you are celebrating!

My sister's hosting Easter this year so I get to kick back and relax and enjoy the food. I will see family too!

Around here, it will be getting warm and the tree pollen will be at an all time high. I have quit walking outside because of allergies since I can't take anything because of my health issues. I am enjoying doing you-tube exercise videos in my office. They are more challenging than my daily walks!

I'm enjoying my lace knitting project that I talked about on Wednesday. It is a fun knit.

Also, I had my first contact lens fitting for my 'medically necessary' contacts that will help protect and heal my extremely dry eyes. Once the lenses are made and in their office, I go back and get another fitting and probably another fitting after that. The eye doctor said we will become great friends.

Around here we will be setting up the back patio and getting ready for outside weather (limited of course with pollen abundance).

Around here, Holly is queen and she just loves to watch the birds outside the windows. The birds have been active so she has been active as well. She watches them, then takes a nap. She is a sweetheart with purpose and meaning in her life. We should all live like a cat.

  1. I am glad that you are making progress with your new contacts! I chuckled at your eye doctor comment... the GI doctor's PA told me the same thing. I think I'd rather not be great friends with any doctor! LOL Happy Easter to you and your family!

  3. I am happy to hear of progress toward the new contact lens. Boy, I age, I feel like a spend more and more time in medical settings. I am grateful for the medical care and try to look at it that way. Pretty daffodil. The pollen count is high here also. Happy Easter.

  4. Around here I'm enjoying Spring - outside and in (now that the pine pollen has abated) - and a bit of on-line time after taking most of the last 48 hours "off". Happy Easter!
