Knitting News

Good morning! How are you doing and how are your projects coming along?

I started two projects recently. First off, I started a lace Christening blanket and hope I have enough yarn, I have another skein that is close to this color and hope if I run out it will be when I start the edging...We will see!

I started yet another baby blanket this one in a darker green and I like it. Babies do not mind the color as much as the like the softness!

What are you working on this week?

  1. Congratulations on the news of another grandchild on the way. The Christening blanket will be a work of art and love when completed. Karen, I'm curious as to which medal you chose for the stitch marker. Marta

  7. Both projects look lovely and will wrap that new babe in your love. I imagine you are enjoying the contrast between the two projects: the colors, the weight of yarn, the pattern, the shape of the projects.

  10. Oh the Christening Blanket is going to be lovely! I'm waiting for news of a friend's granddaughter's birth (expected within the week) to start a Lillie Rose dress in a Texas-summer-friendly cotton.
