Good morning! How are you doing and how are your projects coming along?

I started two projects recently. First off, I started a lace Christening blanket and hope I have enough yarn, I have another skein that is close to this color and hope if I run out it will be when I start the edging...We will see!

I started yet another baby blanket this one in a darker green and I like it. Babies do not mind the color as much as the like the softness!

What are you working on this week?

    Congratulations on the news of another grandchild on the way. The Christening blanket will be a work of art and love when completed. Karen, I'm curious as to which medal you chose for the stitch marker. Marta

    Both projects look lovely and will wrap that new babe in your love. I imagine you are enjoying the contrast between the two projects: the colors, the weight of yarn, the pattern, the shape of the projects.

    Oh the Christening Blanket is going to be lovely! I'm waiting for news of a friend's granddaughter's birth (expected within the week) to start a Lillie Rose dress in a Texas-summer-friendly cotton.

  Good morning to you! How are you? I'm excited about my hat that I've been knitting enjoying the sea of stockinette stitches. When I first started the hat I thought it would be too small, now I wonder if it will be too big. Gah. I will find out soon I guess. I wish the photo about showed how beautiful the colors are in real life, you'll have to trust me on this! Below is my next knitting project, the habitation throw . I will definitely use the pink and gray, I'm still not sure about that purple, I might have a look-see in my stash and do another ponder about that color. I chose this pattern because I can use up some of my stash and I adore Helen Stewart's patterns. What are you working on this week? Also: I will probably not be posting this Friday and the following Monday because of my family visiting. I hope to be back next Wednesday (unless I change my mind).
