Woods Cardigan

 


How are you? How is your knitting or crafting coming along?

I finished this sweet sweater over the weekend and love it! I enjoyed knitting this little cardigan for a family member's baby to be in July. As I have mentioned before this is the 17th time and there will be an 18th time as well and so on. I find comfort in knitting the same patterns over and over again. 

What are you working on this week?

    There is comfort in knitting the same pattern! I agree! I wound some striped yarn last night to cast on a pair of socks this morning!

    Oh Karen! That sweater is adorable! I'm not being very crafty this week, but I am keeping busy...spring cleaning the living room this week. For some reason, it takes me longer to get that done than it used to. lol

    I agree, knitting the same patterns is comforting. When I finish the second sock of a pair, I'd like to find a shawl pattern - in garter stitch.

    The sweater looks adorable ! I am frantically knitting on a pair of socks. They're meant to be a birthday gift, later this month, and I started a wee bit late... ( but I'll make it in time )

Knitting News

  Good morning to you! How are you? I'm excited about my hat that I've been knitting enjoying the sea of stockinette stitches. When I first started the hat I thought it would be too small, now I wonder if it will be too big. Gah. I will find out soon I guess. I wish the photo about showed how beautiful the colors are in real life, you'll have to trust me on this! Below is my next knitting project, the habitation throw . I will definitely use the pink and gray, I'm still not sure about that purple, I might have a look-see in my stash and do another ponder about that color. I chose this pattern because I can use up some of my stash and I adore Helen Stewart's patterns. What are you working on this week? Also: I will probably not be posting this Friday and the following Monday because of my family visiting. I hope to be back next Wednesday (unless I change my mind).
